Dantin Cross had a simple life inside the dome of Section 8. That was until he was chosen for this year’s Conscript. The yearly draft that occurs to bring the best and brightest each Section has to offer to Heart City for an advanced training program. A program designed to develop the next generation of great leaders for Natio. Unfortunately for Dantin, there’s more to this training than meets the eye.
His journey takes him outside his home to Heart City. The beautiful capital of the 16 Sections of Natio. Once training starts Dantin is faced with a series of tests and trials and a world he never knew existed suddenly comes front and center. In the midst of all the turmoil he must navigate who to trust, whether he can find love, and what kind of man he wants to become.
As the challenges build and training escalates, so do the risks. Everyone believes they’re simply being groomed into their roles best suited to serve Natio until a sudden shift in the challenges reveals what’s truly at stake. Dantin must fight for his life and the life of his friends while navigating an unforeseen truth about Natio and who they really are.
