Looking For Sunshine

Devon’s life is looking great again. Finally rid of her cheating ex, she’s taking her photography business to the next level. Her family has almost stopped tiptoeing around her, and she’s starting to trust herself again.

That is, until her first morning as temporary caregiver for her teenage nieces. She forgets the cookies for the band’s bake sale at home and then rear-ends her ex’s divorce attorney. In her sister’s car, no less. Devon isn’t going to let that stop her though. Pulling herself together, she manages to get the cookies to school by noon, except the band director says its too late and her niece won’t be able to go on the band’s field trip because she didn’t participate in the bake sale. Devon offers to be a chaperone on the trip, and when that secures her niece’s spot on the bus, she thinks it’s all behind her. Until her ex’s divorce attorney also shows up to chaperone.
