Ruined
Ember:
The job was supposed to be easy, a simple photography contract at a club. Little did I know that Silas, the owner, would be arrogant and completely insufferable. Within his dark world, he hid behind a mask that allowed him to watch everyone bow at his feet. But I wasn’t that type of person, and I wasn’t about to let him believe he had any control over me.
Silas:
The rules were supposed to be simple, like everything else inside my club. I never expected them to be openly defied by someone made from pure chaos and fire. My anger toward her defiance turned into an obsession faster than I realized. The more I watched her, the more I wanted to burn. But I soon realized that someone else was tempted by her flames, and I wasn’t about to let anyone else claim the woman I planned to ruin.
